Testimony of Leaving Islam
I had a problem with Islam very early on in my life. My parents were born in Lebanon and migrated to Australia in their mid-twenties. My father came to Australia to give us a life and an education.
My father enrolled me into a Catholic school (strange for a Muslim to do) but also sent me to Saturday school to learn my faith. I had a problem with Islam as early as ten or eleven years of age. I simply could not comprehend how Islam decreed the beating of women. My father never practiced Islam - it seemed to me like he had an underlying problem with it himself! My mother doesn't practice either, but she will defend Islam at every opportunity. I never told anyone I was Muslim (that's how ashamed I was of the religion).
Islam is indeed a hoax and it wasn't until a few years ago that I started to liken Islam to a cult. I finally developed the ability to think critically and Islam appeared to be a fraud. I read about the prophets life and I simply couldn't believe what this man had done in his life. He wanted power, to control people and lied to get his way. It upsets me so much to see this cult succeed. After Sept. 11th, my sisters were brainwashed into practicing the religion by their friends. I see so much hatred in them.. they are changed people. They are zombie followers who are suspicious of everything. It really does upset me.
I am glad that my father forced us to stay in school and get an education. I managed to further my education at University and it has been all this education that had taught me to think critically and to look at the Quran objectively and see that it is nothing but a cult. It teaches hate and anyone who demands you don't question something knows that if something is questioned, then the truth will prevail. If Islam was the religion, then it would invite everyone to try to challenge it and prove it wrong. It doesn't do that. Instead it demands you never question it and never challenge it! That proves to me that Islam is nothing more than a fraud.
I am glad I was able to see this at a very young age I knew that there was something not right with this religion. Finally I was able to see it for the fraud that it is.
