The Qur'an is very critical of the hypocrites.

Announce to the hypocrites that they shall have a painful chastisement:
Surely the hypocrites strive to deceive Allah, and He shall requite their deceit to them, and when they stand up to prayer they stand up sluggishly; they do it only to be seen of men and do not remember Allah save a little.
Surely the hypocrites are in the lowest stage of the fire and you shall not find a helper for them.
O Prophet! be careful of (your duty to) Allah and do not comply with (the wishes of) the unbelievers and the hypocrites; surely Allah is Knowing, Wise;

Hypocrisy in Islam:

1. Muhammad had more than 4 wives.

And if you fear that you cannot act equitably towards orphans, then marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four; but if you fear that you will not do justice (between them), then (marry) only one or what your right hands possess; this is more proper, that you may not deviate from the right course.

2. Many Muslimahs dress in burqas or hijab in the name of modesty, but Muhammad had many wives and concubines.

3. Allah mentions this in the Quran. Okay Muslims, bring us the angels if you are truthful.

Why do you not bring to us the angels if you are of the truthful ones?

4. He can question, but not be questioned.

And if Allah please He would certainly make you a single nation, but He causes to err whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases; and most certainly you will be questioned as to what you did.
He cannot be questioned concerning what He does and they shall be questioned.
And if you should question them, they would certainly say: We were only idly discoursing and sporting. Say: Was it at Allah and His communications and His Apostle that you mocked?
Rather you wish to put questions to your Apostle, as Musa was questioned before; and whoever adopts unbelief instead of faith, he indeed has lost the right direction of the way.
O you who believe! do not put questions about things which if declared to you may trouble you, and if you question about them when the Quran is being revealed, they shall be declared to you; Allah pardons this, and Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing.
A people before you indeed asked such questions, and then became disbelievers on account of them.

5. It is hypocritical to claim that the text cannot be altered, but then alter it or forget the old communication and replace it with one better, or to abrogate a communication.

And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord, there is none who can alter His words; and you shall not find any refuge besides Him.
Whatever communications We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring one better than it or like it. Do you not know that Allah has power over all things?
And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who hope not for Our meeting say: Bring a Quran other than this or change it. Say: It does not beseem me that I should change it of myself; I follow naught but what is revealed to me; surely I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the punishment of a mighty day.

6. Islam considers apostasy as a very serious offense, and because a sincere Muslim that has unorthodox views can be killed, it can breed hypocrisy. People feel pressured into giving lip-service to ideas they do not believe in.

7. Muslims accuse the OT and NT of having a corrupt text, but the Qur'anic text is also corrupt.

8. The Qur'an is constantly discussing Biblical characters, making it clear that the author(s) were heavily influenced by Judaism/Christianity, Christians and Jews. But the Qur'an writes:

O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

Further, Muhammad took a Jewish concubine.

In "Understanding the Hadith: the sacred traditions of Islam", Ram Swarup elaborates on Sahih Muslim:

Muhammad’s wars and raids not only fed his coffers, they also swelled his harem. Safiyya, a beautiful girl of seventeen years, was the wife of the chief of a Jewish clan inhabiting Khaibar… Many other women, among them Rihana and Juwairiya, were taken in and treated as war booty. Rihana was a Jewish girl of the Banu Quraizah. After her husband was beheaded in cold blood along with eight hundred other male members of her tribe in the genocide at Medina, Muhammad kept her as his concubine.

9. Muslims are very skeptical of Jewish, Christian and pagan traditions. However, prior to the 7th century, Islam did not exist. Hence, the early Muslims were from those religious traditions. It is very likely that such traditions deeply influenced the Qur'an and Ahadith.

10. The Ka'aba was an idolatrous practice.

11. Many Muslims accuse non-Muslims of being Islamophobes. However, the Qur'an tends to have a double standard with respect to treating and judging Muslims vs. non-Muslims. Many Muslims lack respect for other Muslims that they feel are not following the true Islam.

12. A gap of several centuries occurred between Abraham and the sources in Genesis who describe his life. Roughly 1,000 years later, the New Testament discusses Abraham. So such sources are not credible. But what is hypocritical, is that the book of Genesis and the New Testament both preceded the Qur'an by many centuries.

O followers of the Book! why do you dispute about Ibrahim, when the Taurat and the Injeel were not revealed till after him; do you not then understand?

13. The Qur'an values humility, yet the word Allah appears 2,856 times.

Surely (as to) those who believe and do good and humble themselves to their Lord, these are the dwellers of the garden, in it they will abide.

14. It is hypocritical for Islam to claim “there is no compulsion in religion” (2:256), yet the Qur'an threatens unbelievers with Hell, and according to some Ahadith the punishment for apostasy is death.

Prophecy for Personal Gain

Muhammad used prophecy for his own material benefit. For the same reason one should be skeptical of bribed witnesses, one should be skeptical of bribed prophets!

And know that whatever thing you gain, a fifth of it is for Allah and for the Apostle and for the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer, if you believe in Allah and in that which We revealed to Our servant, on the day of distinction, the day on which the two parties met; and Allah has power over all things.
O wives of the prophet! whoever of you commits an open indecency, the punishment shall be increased to her doubly; and this IS easy to Allah.
O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war, and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who fled with you; and a believing woman if she gave herself to the Prophet, if the Prophet desired to marry her-- specially for you, not for the (rest of) believers; We know what We have ordained for them concerning their wives and those whom their right hands possess in order that no blame may attach to you; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
O you who believe! do not enter the houses of the Prophet unless permission is given to you for a meal, not waiting for its cooking being finished-- but when you are invited, enter, and when you have taken the food, then disperse-- not seeking to listen to talk; surely this gives the Prophet trouble, but he forbears from you, and Allah does not forbear from the truth And when you ask of them any goods, ask of them from behind a curtain; this is purer for your hearts and (for) their hearts; and it does not behoove you that you should give trouble to the Apostle of Allah, nor that you should marry his wives after him ever; surely this is grievous in the sight of Allah.

Is this a message for all time, or is it just using prophecy for personal benefits?

And obey Allah and the Apostle, that you may be shown mercy.
Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers.
These are Allah's limits, and whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, He will cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them; and this is the great achievement.
And whoever obeys Allah and the Apostle, these are with those upon whom Allah has bestowed favors from among the prophets and the truthful and the martyrs and the good, and a goodly company are they!
Whoever obeys the Apostle, he indeed obeys Allah, and whoever turns back, so We have not sent you as a keeper over them.
And obey Allah and obey the apostle and be cautious; but if you turn back, then know that only a clear deliverance of the message is (incumbent) on Our apostle.
They ask you about the windfalls. Say: The windfalls are for Allah and the Apostle. So be careful of (your duty to) Allah and set aright matters of your difference, and obey Allah and His Apostle if you are believers.
O you who believe! obey Allah and His Apostle and do not turn back from Him while you hear.
And obey Allah and His Apostle and do not quarrel for then you will be weak in hearts and your power will depart, and be patient; surely Allah is with the patient.
And (as for) the believing men and the believing women, they are guardians of each other; they enjoin good and forbid evil and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and obey Allah and His Apostle; (as for) these, Allah will show mercy to them; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise.
And he who obeys Allah and His Apostle, and fears Allah, and is careful of (his duty to) Him, these it is that are the achievers
Say: Obey Allah and obey the Apostle; but if you turn back, then on him rests that which is imposed on him and on you rests that which is imposed on you; and if you obey him, you are on the right way; and nothing rests on the Apostle but clear delivering (of the message).
On the day when their faces shall be turned back into the fire, they shall say: O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Apostle!
He will put your deeds into a right state for you, and forgive you your faults; and whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, he indeed achieves a mighty success.
O you who believe! obey Allah and obey the Apostle, and do not make your deeds of no effect.
Do you fear that you will not (be able to) give in charity before your consultation? So when you do not do it and Allah has turned to you (mercifully), then keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and obey Allah and His Apostle; and Allah is Aware of what you do.
And obey Allah and obey the Apostle, but if you turn back, then upon Our Apostle devolves only the clear delivery (of the message).
Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me
So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me.
Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me:
So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me
Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me:
Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me;
Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me:
Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me:

Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle said to me, "You were shown to me twice (in my dream) before I married you. I saw an angel carrying you in a silken piece of cloth, and I said to him, 'Uncover (her),' and behold, it was you. I said (to myself), 'If this is from Allah, then it must happen.' Then you were shown to me, the angel carrying you in a silken piece of cloth, and I said (to him), 'Uncover (her), and behold, it was you. I said (to myself), 'If this is from Allah, then it must happen.' "

According to Islamic tradition,[1] 24:10-20 address the rumors regarding Aisha’s behavior in the necklace scandal.[2]

And were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy-- and that Allah is Oft-returning (to mercy), Wise!

Surely they who concocted the lie are a party from among you. Do not regard it an evil to you; nay, it is good for you. Every man of them shall have what he has earned of sin; and (as for) him who took upon himself the main part thereof, he shall have a grievous chastisement.

Why did not the believing men and the believing women, when you heard it, think well of their own people, and say: This is an evident falsehood?

Why did they not bring four witnesses of it? But as they have not brought witnesses they are liars before Allah.

And were it not for Allah's grace upon you and His mercy in this world and the hereafter, a grievous chastisement would certainly have touched you on account of the discourse which you entered into.

When you received it with your tongues and spoke with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, and you deemed it an easy matter while with Allah it was grievous.

And why did you not, when you heard it, say: It does not beseem us that we should talk of it; glory be to Thee! this is a great calumny?

Allah admonishes you that you should not return to the like of it ever again if you are believers.

And Allah makes clear to you the communications; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.

Surely (as for) those who love that scandal should circulate respecting those who believe, they shall have a grievous chastisement in this world and the hereafter; and Allah knows, while you do not know.

And were it not for Allah's grace on you and His mercy, and that Allah is Compassionate, Merciful.
