Islamic Terrorism is used as "common terminology" these days. Any muslim's crime is quickly linked with Islam. 'Islam' and 'Muslim' are two seperate things. Struggle against slavery, foreign occupation, as well and exploitation is also blamed on Islam. Also, the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is critisized for no good reason. This article clarifies that the family members of the Prophet (PBUH) were the victims of injustice; and the atrocities that were commited against them were perpetrated to get a hold on power.

Jihad From 620 C.E. up to 9/11

In the article History of Jihad the history of jihad is presented from 620 CE to 9/11,and various references are provided. In my opinion during the time of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) Jihad was only used as a last resort and as a tool for self defence .As in "Ghazva-e-Badr where only 313 muslims faced an army of 1300 and came out as the victors. So these 313 people were commiting a terrorist act against an army of 1300?? In Ghazva-e-uhad Abu sufian attacked Madina with an army of 3000 soldiers but was defeated and forced to retreat. Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) was born in 570 CE and died in 632C.E.During his lifetime he spread the message of Islam and protected it. After your passing Alī ibn Abī Ṭālib spent his life as a common man for 25 years .He was given "khilafat" in 35 Hijri and he attained "shahadat in 40 Hijri.During his 5 year reign as khalifa Ameer Moavia bin Sufian didnt allow him to rule in peace. After his shahadat ,his son Hasan ibn ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib was made khalifa but later the position was taken away from him. From 620C.E till 9-11 Prophet Mohammed's family only got to be in power for 5 years out of 1500 years , during that period of time all the conflicts between muslims and non muslims including the crusades only took place for land and rule but today all of it is in one way or another linked with the Prophet (pbuh) irrespective of the fact that no non muslim was ever converted to Islam by force.
