Muslim Scholars Association Warns Sunnis Against the Shi'ite Tide; Urges Them Not to Flee

The Muslim Scholars Association described the Shi'ite demonstration in Bahrain as "a sectarian fitna" which aims to eliminate the Sunni presence both in the government and in the population. The Association also warned Sunnis of the Safavid (Shi'ite) tide, and against emigrating Bahrain, calling it "squandering the land."
In a statement which was received by almoslim.net today, the Association called on all Muslims throughout the world to be careful about where they get news on the events in Bahrain, and not to rely on sectarian stations loyal to Hezbollah in Lebanon or loyal to Iran. The Association also demanded that Islamic media outlets and stations shed light on the truth of the events occurring inside Bahrain...
