Testimony of Leaving Islam

I realized that Allah wasn't the same thing that I believed in. Allah stands for hate, evil, cruelty, unfairness and inhumanity.

It was during an indepth study of the Quran that I discovered something strange: Muhammad couldn't possibly be a personal name, but rather just a describing word. The root of Muhammad is H-M-D that means "honored". The name can't be a name because it's grammatically impossible when you look in to it in its wholeness. Add to that that Muhammad only is written 4 times throughout the whole Quran, and Abraham is written about 61 times. When I started reading about the hadiths, about how they were found and written down, I became skeptical; and reading them made me feel sick to my stomach. So cruel and insulting to both men and women.

Just look at the question of hijab. Everyone keeps saying its insulting to women, but what does it say about men? Women needs to cover themselves up so that men can't look at them and lust. They (men) are looked at as some kind of beasts that can't control themselves. But the thing that really made me make up my mind is the cruel punishments that the Islamic laws force Muslims to live under. Stoning to death, cutting hands of thieves and so on. I don't get how any human beings can tolerate those things.

I am so thankful for having got this personal insight that made me leave Islam.
